The Symbols of Reiki The Symbols of Reiki Second Degree The symbols for me and many Masters are sacred and should not be revealed to those who don't have the activations of Second Degree Reiki. It does not matter if these symbols can be found on the net, on a book or other. Here you will not find them. You will find only a brief description of them and explanation, with all my respect to them and to Reiki. The symbols of Reiki discovered by Usui in his research are four in all. The first three symbols are revealed during the Second Level, and give the opportunity to interact with the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level. Symbols are "keys", formulas often designed in the space or in our silence. They are often designed only displaying them in the air. So they are not always visibly expressed or pronunced. Out of my experience I can only say that they are powerful and they are extremely effective in their action. The secrecy of the symbols is a protection for those who are using them unconsciously. Few Master's are claiming to have more symbols, but on this I do not have much to say because I just don't believe to "visions". The First Symbol Cho Ku Rei (pronounced Choh Koo Ray) The translation of the name of the first symbol of Reiki means "command to universal life energy" and should be intoned as a command. This symbol draws energy from everything around us. It is used to call up the energy around us and to focus it more where you want to target. Beyond its use in the techniques of Second Level , the first symbol can be used in many ways. Let's see some examples. If you want to send energy to a person, or perhaps a passerby who seems in trouble, we can visualize a series of symbols that reach it starting from our eyes. In many cases, we will see an immediate effect: the person being treated straighten his back , take a different attitude somatic, more positive and full of energy . Tracing the symbol to the four corners of a room, it clears negative energy (and often against the effects of electromagnetic pollution caused by household appliances). Tracing around you a "cage of symbols" (front, back, sides, top and bottom), you can put you away from negative energies or influences brought against you. Trace the water, reduces the harmful effect of any chemical agents present in it. Tracing it on a letter or a card, bring a little of our positive energy to the receiver of the message. Clipping of a tissue ( especially if made of natural fibers) and then placing such fabric on a part of a wound or sore, it can facilitate healing. The second symbol Sa He Ki (pronounced Say Hay Key) The translation of the name of the second symbol of Reiki means "I have the key". This symbol allows us to establish a direct link with the subconscious mind of the treated person (or in case of self treatment). Therefore constitutes the essence of mental treatment. During this type of treatment you establish a concrete connection between those who use the symbol and the subject matter, it is essential not to use it unless you are in a state of mind positive and constructive. If you can not completely detach from emotional problems of any kind is better to forgo treatment, otherwise, instead of the harmony given from Reiki the subject may not feel comfortable. The purpose of this symbol is to relax the conscious mind, so as to allow the unconscious memories to resurface in order to facilitate the healing process. The third symbol Hon Sha Za Sho Nen (pronounced Hone Shah Zay Show Nen) The translation of the name of the third symbol of Reiki means "The Buddha in me sees the Buddha in you." It is the fundamental symbol of healing for treatments at a distance, and serves to establish the contact with the subject to be treated. The fourth symbol This is the symbol of the Master, and it is revealed only in the Third Degree or Master, and allows you to activate people by giving them the ability to send Reiki to others.
